Our parking program flyer says this:

 

You are welcome to park here at Huron Shores United Church! Please consider making a cash donation for your parking in the black box located on the post. 

100% of your donation goes to Grand Bend and Area community needs.

Note: Please park here anytime except Sunday mornings or if there is a wedding or other special event at our Church.  No overnight parking allowed (municipal bylaw). 

 

Thank you for your Parking Donation which supports various needs in our community.

In the past, your donations have gone to: 

• Assist families in emergency situations with paying water or electric bills

• Children attending Camps Bimini or Menesetung.  These kids might otherwise not have been able to go to summer camp

• Lunch programs for children at Grand Bend Public School and Hillside School at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation

• Veterans, through the local Legion

• Foodbanks in Zurich and Ailsa Craig

• Families in need, through the Grand Bend Community Health Centre

• Children in care of the Children's Aid Society

• Huron Shores United Church’s programs such as the Free Lunch and Free Store for area residents
